Home to more than 100 species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, Niabi Zoo shelters endangered animals including the Bengal tiger, Asian elephant and cotton-top tamarin. The zoo also contains a carousel with endangered animal figurines and a miniature train that offers scenic rides around the zoo grounds. It is located just five miles southeast of Moline, which sits on the western edge of Illinois, across the river from Davenport, Iowa.
